Alpah Foxtrot completes first Operational Assessment flight - 11/09/01
British Airway Concorde G-BOAF was the first Concorde aircraft to carry pasengers since being given back its Certificate of Airworthiness.
The Flight, BA9010C, took play on Tuesday 11th of September departing from Stand V14 at Heathrow's terminal 4. The flight, which took off on Runway 27L, begun at 10h48 and reached a cruising speed of mach 2.02 and a maxium height of 57,000 ft.
During the 3 hr flight the passengers, all BA staff, were treated to a full in-flight service of food and drink before landing back at Heathrow Airport at 14:02, slightly later than planned after the crew requested a circuit of the normal holding patern at Ockham. On arrival Alpha Foxtrot taxied to Stand T10 at Terminal 4
